Here is another measurement that will help me make your dog clothes to
perfection. I have found with small breed dogs that they can get their
paws caught in the arm part of the harness if they pull their legs up far
enough if the harness comes over the side too much. So I am adding this
measurement so I can make it so the back just comes to the top of the leg
and does not go over the leg at all.

On this measurement I have had several people think they are to measure
across the back and around the neck to the other leg. Do not measure
around the neck. It is just from the top of one leg up over the back to the
top of the other leg. If you still have questions please contact me. I will

The line around the neck is where the top of the harness will lay.
The line around the middle is where the bottom of it will lay. Notice
in the picture if you go any further down you run the risk of doggy
going potty on it. The line going in between the 2 is the inches you
will want the harness to be from the top of the back to the bottom.
